Job Summary: Come and join the R&D Lab in Super Micro Computer. We strive to ensure our product quality meet the Super Micro Standards! We are looking for an entry- to mid-level System Validation Engineer who is full of passion and is always willing to improve and contribute. In this role, you will contribute to the system validation process and provide valuable support to our projects while working with a group of enthusiastic team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned): •Conduct standard system environmental and reliability tests during the product development cycles of Supermicro systems and related products
•These may include preliminary tasks, such as updating firmware, installing OS, ensuring BOM check and preliminary thermal and power requirements, baseline form, fit and functional check
•The validation tasks cover setting up and conducting the functional validations, post processing and analyzing test data, reporting and tracking issues during the validation process, and documenting test report and lessons learned
•Work with internal and external cross-functional teams to execute validation projects
•Help to review, revise and create validation processes and test plans according to different system requirements and risk factors for validation items
•Help conduct engineering/research projects and required failure analyses
•Assist with lab resource coordination and test equipment maintenance and calibrations
•Continuously seek ways to streamline and improve the system validation process
•Perform other work as assigned
Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines
•Minimum of 2-year experience in Linux operating system environment and Shell Commands preferred
•Familiar with personal computers, server systems, IOT and embedded systems
•Data analysis experience using Excel or other tools
•Experience leading initiatives in cross-functional environment
•Must have good working spirit and attitude with team
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to set priorities, multi-task, resolve problems and manage time wisely
•This position involves some light load lifting, system and equipment

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
