About Yembo

At Yembo, we are united around our mission to bring revolutionary technology to traditionally boring home services industries. We have already disrupted the moving industry, and now we've set our sights on property insurance.

We have developed state of the art technology that makes remotely adjusting a property insurance claim fast and easy and are bringing it to market in partnership with leading property insurance carriers. As a Senior Graphics Engineer, you will own the technical development and delivery of high performance rendering, interactivity, and GPGPU programming in our commercial applications that enable this technology to solve real problems for our customers. This work includes everything from low level use of OpenGL ES and Metal for generic computing and rendering on mobile devices, to high level 3D libraries for the web.

• BS of Computer Science (MS in Graphics preferred) or 5+ years experience building performant GPU applications for real-time rendering, simulation, or image processing.
• Fluency in a low level graphics API such as Metal/OpenGL/Vulkan/DirectX.
• Mastery of linear algebra in the context of 3D graphics.
• Willingness to collaborate across design and product
• Proficiency with profiling and optimizing application performance
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Located in the domestic United States or Canada (eastern time preferred)

• Prior startup experience
• Mobile development experience
