Position Overview: As our Senior Compliance Officer, you will be the cornerstone of our compliance program, ensuring our operations and product offerings align with all relevant laws, regulations, and rules. Your role is crucial in educating our team, senior management, and the Board of Directors about compliance responsibilities and administering training programs. You will also liaise with our independent compliance audit firm and regulatory examination personnel.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Compliance Officer:

Develop, administer, and monitor the bank's compliance programs.
Maintain the bank's compliance library using the latest technology.
Provide expert compliance advice and guidance to all bank staff.
Collaborate with management to develop new products or modify existing ones.
Review and update policies and procedures under senior management and Board of Directors' supervision.
Coordinate annual compliance audits.
Address deficiencies and improve operational efficiencies with management.
Review advertisements and new products for compliance.
Manage the Bank's BSA Officer and administer the BSA Policy and program.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of 5-7 years of compliance experience in the banking industry.
Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and rules governing bank operations and products.
Exceptional communication and training skills.
Ability to work onsite in Houston, Texas.
