Description Registered Nurse Navigator GynOb Womens Center Shift: Full Time 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Emory Clinic Building A, 1365 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322
Emory Healthcare is looking for a clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients, and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population. Routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations.
- Responsible for enhancing the patient experience by providing a seamless navigation process from diagnosis to survivorship.
- Responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary teams to triage, coordinate, and consistently manage patient care by educating, providing a link to research, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and families and providing indirect patient care.
- Works with patients and families to answer questions, provide emotional support and solve issues concerning the cycle of care.
Minimum Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required.
- Two years nursing experience required, 1 year case management preferred.
- BLS required.
