These _Enhanced Services Facilities_ (ESF) utilize NURSES to assist residents with living independent lifestyles while thriving in this community setting. The program specializes in providing medical, behavioral, and housing support for residents as young as 18, living with behavioral health challenges. Our staff empower these residents to overcome life-long adversities and honor their choices, goals, and preferences for how they choose to live and interact within their community.
The ESF is designed with a low resident-to-staff ratio and these programs have a mostly younger and independent population. ESF nursing requires a type of assertive patience and the ability to utilize effective communication skills. Staff must be self-motivated when completing various tasks, as well as collaborative when working with the team. Nursing staff are under the direction of the Charge Nurse, but are also responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the facility. This includes the management and support of the caregivers. We require staff to be professional, dependable, and thrive in the teamwork atmosphere we strive for.
Our work environment includes:
* Low Patient Ratios: Up to 16 patients, with at least 4 staff at all times

*Responsibilities*
* Manage operations of the facility during the shift, including managing and coordinating caregiving staff.
* Record a patient’s medical history accurately
* Observe patients to identify effectiveness and side-effects of medications, treatments, etc.
* Complete all nursing tasks, in accordance with the nursing scope of practice.
* Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
* Communicate with patients’ providers, therapists, family members, or any other person designated by the patient, as part of a person-centered approach to effectively provide care.
*Skills*
* Some experience as RN/LPN or similar role is preferred
* Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
* Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards/procedures
* Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
* Excellent knowledge of medical and terminology
* Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
* Appropriate physical condition and stamina
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and able to work well under pressure
* Successful completion of licensed nursing program
* Salary dependent on relevant experience

Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
